It is notified that refund amount against cancellation of 1st year admission 2018, may transfer to the candidate/ Parents Bank account through online mode i.e., NEFT / RTGS OR through PAYMENT GATEWAY- BILLDESK.
It may be noted that due to some formalities and technical causes, amount will be transferred after 27th August 2018.
The amount of refund will be calculated as per Government circular and may be charged cancellation fees Rs. 200 if not paid by candidates.
PLEASE NOTE that admission to all courses (B.A., B.Com. and B.Sc, Honours) will be conducted through a fully transparent online website-based system. BEWARE OF TOUTS/MIDDLEMEN POSING AS ‘CONTACTS’ AND DEMANDING MONEY IN EXCHANGE OF THEIR ‘SERVICES’.
Adoption of any unfair means including submission of incorrect data / information during the application and/or admission process or submission of false/forged documents (mark sheets /certificates etc.) will attract severe punishments including cancellation of candidature and legal action if required.
Online Application Process will start after the publication of WBCHSE 10+2 Result 2018 as per CU Notification.
Application Fee: Rs. 200/- for each Core (Hons.) Courses (Only through online mode)
The eligibility criteria shown in the table is applicable for candidates other than SC/ST. Candidates belonging to Reserved Categories taking up Core (Hons.) Course of Study must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate and 40% marks in the subject or related subjects at the previous qualifying examination, as the case may be.
For admission to different courses, an SC or ST candidate getting admission should have obtained in the previous examination: qualifying marks not lower by more than 25% of the marks obtained by the last candidate of the general (Unreserved) category. In case of OBC-A and OBC-B the candidates getting admission should have obtained in the previous examination, qualifying marks not lower by more than 10% from the marks obtained by the last candidate of the general (Unreserved) category.
Candidates must have minimum qualifying marks from all 10+2 boards/councils is according to their respective qualifying marks. (Separately in theory and practical, where applicable).
Compartmental candidates are not eligible to apply.
Applicants from Vocational Courses are not eligible to apply for any Courses.
Initially the admission will be for Core Courses (Honours Courses) only. The Generic Elective Subjects will be assigned after admission to the Core Courses.
Seats in the following Generic Elective Subjects are limited and will be offered / allowed strictly according to Merit basis: Food & Nutrition, Psychology, Geography, Statistics, Electronics, Computer Science and Journalism.
Elective English will be offered to applicants who have scored a minimum of 50% marks in English at the 10+2 level.
In the Day Shift: Only female applicants will be allowed to opt for Psychology, Food and Nutrition and Education as Generic Elective Subjects. All classes in these subjects will be held in the Morning Shift only.
Applicants must have passed mark sheet including pass marks in a full paper of English of 100 marks, at the 10+2 level. Only successful candidates who have appeared in their 10+2 Exams in 2017 and 2018 are allowed to apply.
Admission fee is subject to change due to new CBCS regulations and to be finalized before admission.
Migration certificate required for Boards other than CBSC, ISC, WBCHSE and WBBME
Marks in ‘Compulsory Environmental Education’ and ‘Environmental Studies’ will not be counted as any of the ‘Best Four’ for determining the ‘aggregate’. The only exception will be ‘Environment Science’ if studied as an elective subject of 100 marks.

Online Admission 2018 for S. A. Jaipuria College will commence as per Government directives and C. U. guidelines immediately upon the declaration of Class XII 2018 results by all boards recognized in West Bengal. Please note that this time there are 3 distinct websites for admission procedures related to the 3 different shifts of the college (Morning, Day and Evening). You can already log into these websites which are, of course, still under construction. We would like to remind you that no mutual transfer within the shifts will be entertained.
We choose to emphasize that in accordance to our practice of previous years, all admission norms will be rigorously adhered to including specifications of date of and time. Needless to mention, admissions will be strictly on the basis of merit. All relevant certificates and mark-sheets, including those related to reserved quota etc (SC, ST, and OBC & Person with Disability) will be verified with the respective authorities. Admissions will remain provisional unless certified and confirmed by the same. Wards and their parents are warned against soliciting or entertaining any underhand monetary claims / transactions. Wards are also advised not to submit any forged certificates to get through admission the detection of which may affect their career adversely. Moreover, all such endeavors will remain abortive and will be penalized upon detection.
